Today was spent at Cleary Lake Park. We used to spend quite a bit of time here with my Dad when my sisters and me would go with my Dad on the weekends. It was a beautiful sunny day. Tana, Aryes, Alex and Gabe played in the water, while Henry, Grandma and myself stayed on the beach. The water was a little too chilly for us. I put Henry's feet in the water, but he screamed high pitched and loudly. I guess he didn't like it. Henry discovered sand today and had a great time crawling all over Grandma. I had wanted to take pictures of Henry's 1st time at the beach, but forgot the camera. It's amazing the amount of stuff you need when you have a kid (or 5!) Kids were fairly well behaved, considering we added Tana to the mix today. I kinda felt bad just dumping Grandma back at my sister's house with all the kids (less Henry) after swimming, but also glad to be going home. I was pooped and Henry was screaming his head off because he was pooped as well. Went for walk after dinner with Josey and Nadia, but just a short 15 min. one. It's a perfect night (weather wise), but I am really tired and Ria is still trying to get her Videochat to work.

Dinner of Tilapia with Tomato Cream Sauce served over White Rice with a side of Aparagus. Dessert = Ice Cream Sandwich. Delish! Also pigged out on Baked Lay's Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips as I am typing this.

Hardly have time

I threw away my 2008 calendars by mistake, or rather I think that I did because I can't find them. I had two of them out so I could transfer birthdates and other special dates, and now I can't find them. My Mom thinks that she last saw them on my Sunday newspaper pile that I always recycle, so that is where they must have gone. Also I am missing a jar of Nutella. After introducing my co-worker Kate to it, she gave me a jar of it for Xmas. I have now "misplaced" that as well. I have never been so disorganized in my life. I guess this is what being a new Mom is all about. I hardly have time to get ready in the morning and often go to work sans makeup. It's always a big rush to get out the door. I am now late for for everything too.
